Erin Joyce Memorial Scholarship and Angels Walk All Comers & Rick Hagin Distance PR Mania – Moved to June 11, 2021
All Field Events will start at 3:20 pm
Erin Joyce Memorial Scholarship: Erin was a member of the ET XC & TF team. Erin competed in ETXC and ETTF with the utmost dedication and with the highest integrity. Unfortunately, Erin passed away tragically in a car accident. This scholarship was established to honor Erin’s memory. Boy’s award will be presented not only to honor Erin but also in memory of Angel Alvarez. Angel was also tragically taken from us in a car accident. The scholarship’s nominating & application process and requirements will be posted here along with the trust bylaws prior to awarding scholarships at the 2020 Track & Field Banquet. All donations are accepted. No amount is too small or large. Please contact the Meet Director at email@example.com. All scholarships are funded by donations and no Track & Field team donations will be used to fund this scholarship. All donations to the EJMS will be used for scholarships and EJMS related expenses.
Everyone is welcome to compete. No age limit… bring your parents, siblings, neighbors, etc.

El Toro HS: 25255 Toledo Way, Lake Forest, CA 92630. 9 lane all-weather track. Free parking, the large lot next to the Stadium off Serrano Street. Street parking available.
Opening Ceremony & Angel’s Walk: 3:00 pm start followed by Angel Walk… Angel Walk was created to remember Angel Alvarez. Angel was also tragically taken from us in a car accident. Everyone is welcome to join in on a one-lap walk to remember Angel. Boy’s recipient will receive his award in memory of Angle. The first event will start at 3:20 pm, stadium to open at 1:30 pm for registration.

Pre-Registration is SIMPLE for individuals! Simply send in your name, gender, event/events, season PR to firstname.lastname@example.org or text the info to 949-973-0703 by Thursday, June 9th, at 2 pm. By registering early, you will avoid long lines and seeded into proper heats. NO PENALTY for not showing up. NO need to PAY until the morning of the meet. Due to COVID, limited entries will be available on race day. We can not guarantee entries on race day. Pre-register to guarantee your entry.
Entry Fee: $15 up to 2 events, $30 per relay. $5.00 for spectators (kids 10 and under are free with parent)
All ages can compete. CASH ONLY
Spikes: Please bring only 3/16” needle or pyramid spikes (spikes will be available for sale)
Concession Stand: None for 2021
Events: We will run the events in this order; the event time schedule and number of heats will vary depending on the number of entrants.
Running Events: 3:20 pm start with 4x 100 meter relay
Tentative Schedule – May change depending on the number of participants. For 2021, all distance events (800 to 3200) will be held in our evening session at Rick Hagin Distance PR Mania starting at 6:00 pm with 800, 1600, 3200 ( Boys to girls, slowest to fastest heat). We will try our best to keep to this time schedule to minimize the larger number of athletes on the field.

3:30 pm 100/110 High Hurdles
3:50 pm 400 meter run
4:10 pm 100 meter run
4:30 pm 300 meter hurdles
4:50 pm 200 meter run
5:10 pm 4x 400 meter relay (Co-Ed allowed)
Rick Hagin Distance PR Mania – 6:30 pm start
6:30 pm – 800 M (Boys to Girls, slowest to fastest, 12-15 per heat)
7:00 pm – 1600 M (Boys to Girls, slowest to fastest, 15-18 per heat)
8:40 pm – 3200 m (Boys to Girls, slowest to fastest, 18-24 per heat)
Field Events – 3:20 pm start
Triple Jump (After Long Jump)
Discuss (After Shot Put)
Awards: Top 3 or appx 25% of the field in All Heats.
Award presentation after each heat.
